Buoyancy skill dives

Today's dives were designed to improve the student's buoancy skills, which will be critical in a few days when we work with the corals.

I think Maria is feeling pretty comfortable in the water.
Mikayla is playing with a curious yellow damselfish.
Natalie is comfortable enough to remove her regulator to smile for the camera.
Jordan is taking her turn with a buoyancy skill.  Here the students are to hover near the substrate, move forward and knock a spoon or weight down with their regulator, ascend slightly, then move forward a few meters and knock another one down.
We saw several hawksbill turtles today.
Here's a Clarks anemonefish on a large carpet anemone.

More yellow snappers.
Shanon having fun.
Instructor Chris (middle) with his dive group.  Shanon, Raechel, Macy, Shae.
Chris positioned his students for a fun photo:  Shanon and Raechel.

Here are some students getting back into the boat after their dives. Here's Adam.  Do you think they're enjoying this incredible learning experience?  Count the smiles...
